Serious Post :o

Well, once again, I will post about something serious. Brace yourselves, it may come as a shock!
As we were walking along the beach, I noticed that my footprints left an impression in the damp sand. Every time the tide came up, it smoothed out the sand and erased my footprints, no trace of them was left. My footprints are similar to my sins. I continually sin over and over, only to have Jesus' Blood wash my sins away...As soon as I have a clean slate, I dirty it up again, but as faithful as the tide, Jesus "smooths out the sand". What an awesome Savior!

I agree Mac. It is like that. Ever time that you sin, Jesus washes them away again.

Hello Mac.
I am shocked. A serious post. :o
I think that you should right serious posts more often. Because when you DO write them, they are good.

Our God IS an awesome God! What love He has for us to always smooth out the sand. That was a great analogy, Mac.

I so wish you could have been closer to us here on Hatteras Island. Maybe next time it will be Avon.... It was just suech a joy to meet and spend time with you and your family.

Know that you all are in my prayers.

Mac,
I really love your serious posts. You do have a way with words. On paper and in song. I'm proud of you.
Love, Mom

I really like your analogy! Thank God that we have a Savior.
I would encourage you to continue posting. It's a wonderful network of Christian friends out there. When I first started, I had no idea what I would write about. It's funny how it ended up just being about happenings in my daily life. Some are better than others, but, for me, it's a way to document our lives.
I look forward to coming back to read more!
Blessings,
Karen

Hi Mac! I've met Tracy through blogland, and now I've found yours.

I very much like your footprint/sin analogy. That is so true and an excellent reminder. Thank you for sharing!!

Hey Mac,
That's so true. God's awesome. Even if we mess up alot, our sins are washed as far as the ocean floor. He covered them with His blood, so they are no longer there. I think that is amazing. TTYL

Hey,

I'm Sydney. Your mom made my mom an apron. I guess you could say they're blog buddies (haha my mom has friends?).

I like your blog. You seem like a cool person. I love the Beatles! And I write songs.

I like the beach metaphor. I've thought about that myself. Jesus truly is great!
